Suite à la publication d’un scoop faisant cas de vol de cuillères dorées par deux femmes ministres, « L’Indépendant Express » un organe de presse écrite et en ligne au Togo est en voie de disparition.
En effet, la publication de cet article a conduit le Directeur de Publication Carlos Kétohou, de l’organe « L’Indépendant Express », au Service Central de recherches et d’Investigations Criminelles (SCRIC), où il a passé quatre (4) jours de détention.
L’affaire se complique davantage. Conséquence, la Haute Autorité de l’Audiovisuelle et de la Communication (HAAC) a entamé ce lundi 04 janvier 2021, le processus de retrait du récépissé du Journal « L’Indépendant Express ». Ce qui conduira à une interdiction de parution de l’hebdomadaire selon Pitalounani Télou, le Président de la HAAC.
Pour raison, la HAAC après audition, indique n’avoir reçu aucune preuve des affirmations contenues dans l’article, et a donc décidé du retrait pur et simple du récépissé du Journal « L’Indépendant Express ».
Par conséquent, elle annonce à cet effet, la cessation de la parution du journal sous toutes ses formes y compris en version papier comme en ligne avec effet immédiat.
Notons que dans sa séance d’audition avec la HAAC, l’organe de presse auteur du scoop s’est fait accompagner par Isidore Akolor, Président du Patronat de Presse Togolaise (PPT).
